About the Role & Responsibilities
As a Developer in Cognizant's Digital Business & Technology practice, you will work on enterprise-scale business process management (BPM) systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to engineer automated workflow orchestrations, optimize high-volume database queries, and implement interactive frontend business dashboards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test automated workflows using IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) and Business Process Management (BPM) components.
- Author optimized Oracle SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and views supporting high-throughput transaction records.
- Build modular client-side script integrations and user interfaces using modern JavaScript (ES6+) and RESTful API endpoints.
- Participate in agile sprint ceremonies, code peer reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Troubleshoot production defects, perform root-cause analysis (RCA), and maintain enterprise system documentation.

- Degrees: B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related engineering disciplines / MCA.
